Research shows that giving people time to reflect on their own practice and access external resources and expertise has a positive impact on school culture and pupil outcomes. Our team has grown practitioner researchers in early years and mainstream settings, supported the development of education leads within the Arts and integrated a research approach to professional development within schools.
This work has been presented at Higher Education level, in national conferences, including BERA 2017 and 2021 and published in the Chartered College Journal Impact and the Laurel Trust Journal. If like us you believe in practitioner research as a powerful and empowering strategy for individual, team and whole school or organisational improvement we would love to hear from you.
Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent training today. I learned so much and found it really inspiring.
Fulcrum Learning recently provided an inspirational keynote address at our Primary Headteachers’ Conference, which set the room alight and left delegates buzzing.
Our university has worked in partnership with Fulcrum Learning for a number of years and we have seen our beginning teachers and established practitioners benefit from their expertise and support.
I have worked with Fulcrum Learning now on a number of projects, some relating to whole school provision and some linked to personal career development.
